Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Amy Moody’s baby son Elijah he‘s 10 months old (04/02/18) He was born with coarctation of the aorta and mitral stenosis. He had coarctation of the aorta operation at 16 days old. The mitral stenosis doesn’t usually effect until early 20s. Elijahs was very severe the cardiologist here never seen it so bad in a baby so young. They have “fixed” it for now but he needs it replaced at some time maybe in a few years hopefully. He also has a condition called hypospadia which he was born with an needs plastic surgery to repair it. He is tube fed at home and his parents are waiting for peg to be fitted, He underwent a major heart operation, and the parents has to stay in hospital during christmas and possibility New Year too, so while we all enjoy our families during christmas morning, think about Amy and her family. So, with her permission, I‘ve set up this justgiving page so that all monies donated will go to Amy and she can decide what she want to do, she mentioned that she would donate toward Ronald McDonald who provides shelter for Amy and her husband over the road from the hospital, they also have two other wee girls who has to stay with Amy’s parents 3 and half hours away from the hospital, can you imagine not seeing your children for weeks? So, with monies she might be able to book a nice family holiday to make up for the missed christmas when her baby son is out of hospital? At times like this, we should support each other...especially at christmas. Spare any changes and thoughts. Amy updates about Elijah in Deaf BSL Chat if you want to follow. Thank you all Xxx
Elijah. He’s 10 months old (4/2/18).
