I've raised £2000 to help fund treatment to save an amazing young woman

I'm running the Hyde Park 10k on 20th May 2018. I am anything but a long distance runner & have only recently surpassed the 5k mark. I'm very aware that's nothing to be proud of and that lots of people run marathons all the time. However, for me it'll be a big deal if I can waddle my short thick thighs over the finish line.
I'm doing it for an amazing cause which you can read about below. I'd be beyond grateful if you could take the time to read about the amazing woman that's inspiring so many people to try to raise money for the worthiest cause.
If you can spare anything at all by way of a donation, whether that means giving up a cup of coffee or a drink down the pub,, you can do it in the knowledge that you'll be helping to give someone the most deserved chance to fight their fight.
This is the story of our friend Fiona Strong; a strong willed, kind and generous human being, who has an exceptionally rare form of cancer. The story is a tragic one and without our intervention, sadly, it is one without a happy ending.
After two years of intensive treatments Fi's options have run out... except for one: Immunotherapy, a new form of cancer treatment that boosts the body's natural defenses to fight the cancer. Immunotherapy could provide radical, life saving treatment.
The catch? The overstretched NHS cannot offer this treatment. A round of immunotherapy starts at a minimum of £90,000- £150,000 and is dependent on how many cycles and the duration of the treatment..
You can make a difference. You can save Fi. The last part of the story has not yet been written, but we are desperate for a happy ending. Please help us. Give your money, give your advice, give your ideas and thoughts.
With your help and love, we can reach our target amount that will get a generous, sweet, courageous young woman the help she so desperately needs to keep fighting this terrible disease that affects so many of us.
Please help us, donate and share her story now for a chance to make a difference
