Story
On July 8th 2017, I will be travelling with VESA to St Lucia, South Africa to volunteer and work alongside the rural village.
My time spent there will be broken up into three parts; Construction, Conservation and Education. The local community are in desperate need for new, safe housing, clean sanitation blocks, as well as secure infrastructure for the children to learn and play. I also get the chance to interact and teach English to the local children. This is a chance to work directly with the children and learn from their aspirations and culture. My last part of the trip will comprise of working within a Cheetah and Lynx conservation unit, preserving these vulnerable animals. As well as the capture and release of crocodiles and the counting of crocodile eggs.
This trip will enable me to pursue my experience within a developing community and do my very best in bringing support and endearment to the children and families of this local town.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
Any donations are welcome.
I'd be happy to share my experience with you and send you photos once I have completed the volunteering!
*The funding from this will go towards the cost of this trip*
