In January 2018, I'm going to Fajara, Gambia for 4 months with a Crosslinks (BCMS) Gap Year Team. Our aim: to glorify God, serve, evangelise, and be discipled. As a team, we will work GamFES (the Gambian Christian Union). This will involve working in local schools, alongside a local church, helping with kids and youth work, and participating in university student outreach, with the aim of telling people about the good news of Jesus Christ, that he died for our sins and rose again. My goals are to serve the Lord, serve the community, experience overseas mission, while growing as a Christian, in confidence and dependence on God. We are taking God's Word to God's World.
