Story

This time last year you helped me feed these people for a year. Can you help to feed them for another year?

Volunteering in a third world country can be life changing for you as an individual. You can also change lives for those who need it the most

My daughter Alice and i assisted on a Medical and Community based project in Cambodia. We helped those who had nothing.

We helped the most delightful people. They had been forcibly removed from their homes to make way for upmarket flats and hotels. They were “settled” miles from anywhere, hidden from view in appalling conditions without proper housing, sanitation, healthcare and food. Two thosand people! I raised funds to purchase basic needs for these people. These included creating pathways so they didn’t have to walk in mud and filth, fixing flimsy dwellings, mattresses so they didn’t have to sleep on wooden boards and food in the form of rice and other dried goods. All this helped 23 of the poorest families. Now the food has run out and there are more families in dire straits. £10 pounds buys a bag of rice. £30 pounds buys a mattress.... The money raised goes directly to those living on site. I know that times are tough for many of you but the smallest donation will definitely make a difference.

Lets feed these people for another year!
