Story

Legendary Graphic Designer Andie Airfix would be celebrating his 73rd birthday on 27th August this year.

He loved the theatre, music - the arts in general. Since moving to central Brighton in 2011, the Brighton Dome became a big part of Andie's life.

Brighton Dome's Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre are undergoing a huge refurbishment and in Andie's honour I'd like to donate to the Brighton Dome Seat Appeal.

£600 will name a retractable seat in either venue. £1800 will name a seat in the front row balcony.

The Dome has played host to Harold Pinter, Maya Angelou, Ella Fitzgerald and David Bowie. It has a150-year history of music, theatre and dance.

It is a registered charity that engages with huge numbers of Brighton residents. It supports 200 community-based events each year.

If we raise more money than needed, we will make donations to the Clocktower Sanctuary and the Sussex Heart Charity.

Thank you!
