I've raised £1000 to help feed and support the forgotten Community of SCC Salvation Centre Of Cambodia.

Im an English Nurse with a privileged life here in England. I recently took part on a Medical Volunteering Project in Cambodia.
I knew it would be difficult and I was ready for the Culture shock.
I wasn't prepared for the overwhelming power of emotion that swept through me, making it impossible to just do my job and walk away.
So far with the generous help and support of my Family, Friends, Colleagues and Aquaintences, we have helped to feed 17 Families for a year, as well as giving them a mattress to sleep on for the first time in 13 years.
13 years ago a community of 2000 families were uprooted from their prime location in the City of Phnom Penh. Without choice, they had to leave the homes THEY OWNED, to reside on derelict land an hour out of town.
They were promised housing and schools and an infrastructure to enable them to start again.
Nothing at all was given. They were left to fend for themselves on derelict land hidden from site.
Their original homes were repossessed. Five star apartments now stand surrounded by a landscaped lake in their once owned prime location.
The people of SCC have been left with absolutely nothing.
It's time to help change that, family by family.
Please help me to help them.
Every single penny is being used to make that change.
