Story

In a moment of madness I decided that it would be a great idea to take part in the Great North Run this year as it is the year of my 50th birthday!

I wanted to do the run to benefit a charity and looked at lots of charities before I came across CP Teens UK via the Scope newsletter. Ellie, who founded the charity had written a great account of her personal story and the journey that she had undertaken to get to where the charity is today.

CP Teens UK gives a voice to young people with physical disabilities and provides access to great oppurnities, especially in terms of sports. As well as providing advice, friendship and help, CP Teens UK is a point of inspiration for any young person with a physical disability.

After reading her story I knew that I wanted to help this charity and felt so inspired by all that she has achieved.

The Great North Run is on Sunday 10th September 2017 , any donations would be greatly appreciated to help CP Teens UK continue their amazing work.
