Another sad story: How and why anyone can leave an animal to get to this state beggars belief, we did everything we could to save Basil, this poor little 2yr old had 4 shoes (worn) and sores where the harness sat!!! He should never of had a life like this, he should of only of known what the green fields looked like. We really tried for this little man as the RSPCA were at least 3-4 hours away! But sadly this little guy didn't make it, he was exhausted.

In January 2017 another colt: This piebald colt, badly emaciated and with its hooves heavily matted with mud, would have suffered awfully in its final hours of life. Even in death, it was given no pity as it was dragged on to a grassy verge with a coil of blue rope and left to decay. Horse dumping is reaching epidemic levels as overbreeding and rising costs put increasing numbers of equines on the scrapheap. This has too stop.
