24 challenges in 2024!

I am joining the Board at Aberdeen Arts Centre and look forward to helping support this wonderful venue - right in the heart of Aberdeen.

I am lucky to have performed on the stage here in many musical productions including 'Anything Goes', 'Kiss me Kate', 'Pyjama Game' 'Best Little Whorehouse in Texas' and the incredibly moving 'Oh What a Lovely War' - with AOC Productions.

We have loved seeing many shows over the years - plays, musicals, comedy and dance shows - such a variety and wealth of talent here in Aberdeen.

It is so important that the performing arts are nourished and supported as they bring so much joy and fulfillment to performers and audience members alike. Creativity needs to continue to thrive and inspire.

Aberdeen Arts Centre is a registered charity and receives funding from Aberdeen City Council to help support their work. 75% of the income comes from our community visiting our venue, ticket sales and donations.

A keen runner and walker - I will undertake 24 challenges in 2024 and split the funds across the Arts Centre and the Stroke Association.
