Story

Alfie and I are running in the Dog Jog at Heaton Park Sunday 30th June 2019 and are kindly asking for your sponsorship. We are aiming to raise money for The Breast Unit at Royal Bolton Hospital. Stella has received outstanding treatment of the highest standard at the unit for breast cancer over the last two years and we would like to give something back to the team and unit in appreciation.
Alfie and I ran in the Dog Jog last year which is a non-competitive event. Anyone who knows me, and has watched me drive my 928 around a race track, knows the words “non-competitive” are not in my language :-) Alfie and I finished second in the event last year but the girl who beat us was at least a third of my age! I am sure Alfie would win if he did not have me holding him back! At the grand old age of 10 years Jake, although young at heart, is not really up to running too far these days.
Thank you for taking the time to view this page and for your support.
UPDATE - sadly Jake (18/01/09-14/04/19) has now passed away.
