I have set this page up so that everyone knows what is going on.

I have made enquiries as to having mums/Nan's ashes interned at St Peters Church. I thought it would be good to do it as near to her birthday as possible - so are looking at 14th July.

The cost of the plaque, preparation of the ground and fees come to around £750 (I haven't got a definitive figure yet, but from what I have been quoted, its close).

I would suggest that if each donation was £65 - 70 (or more if you would like), then between 11 of us then this would come very close. I am not suggesting that each couple both pay that amount - its one donation per couple or single person.

I have not asked Phil to contribute as he has paid enough out for the funeral. I am also not asking those who are not working to contribute.

We need to get this started as soon as possible as the stonemason will need time to make the plaque - and we will need to pay for it before he does.
