I've raised £500 to Running a half marathon to help St Michaels Hospice provide end of life support for families who are suffering with the effects of cancer.

Recently we lost an amazing man called Neil Anderson, he was a son, husband, a father, a grandfather, and brother.
I had the privilege of joining Neil's family over 13 years ago, I have never met such an honest, funny, trustworthy and amazing person that Neil was, and sadly after his retirement for his long career at BT he developed cancer, he fought this illness and still remained his happy positive self, however, the illness eventually overcame him and he sought the help from St Michaels, they were able to provide support, with other people who understood, and were able to provide pain relief and aftercare which made him feel comfortable.
He passed away earlier this year, and we all miss him so much.
The hospice relies on donations, and as I am due to complete my 1st half marathon in May, rather than being sponsored, I would like to try and raise money to help other people receive this care too.
