    Story

Sammie and I met in June 2016 online. We connected right away and shared our history and dreams and realized we wanted to share our lives together. Problem is she lives in England and I live in Canada and neither of us are well off financially. Not poor but not wealthy enough to afford all of the requirements to bring her here permanently.
In November Sammie got a little bonus money and we decided to throw caution to the wind and get her over here. So she bought a plane ticket, gave notice to her job and flat with the intention of bringing her over for the maximum 6 months and start job searching while she was here for a work permit. She came over December 9 and I was waiting at the airport for her. Unfortunately we made 1 mistake...didn't book her a return ticket. This flagged her by Customs who thought she was a risk to not return at the end of the 6 months. They were prepared to put her on a plane that same day but she managed to convince them to allow her to stay for a month so long as she returned to England January 8. So she was passed through customs and we met. I immediately took her in my arms and held her while she told me what happened. We were heartbroken but decided not to think about it for at least the first week so we could enjoy finally being together.
So began the best month of our lives. We had an amazing Christmas and New Year just enjoying the time we had together.
Sadly, on January 8 I had to put her on a plane back to England. Our daily routine is spent on video calls from the moment I get home from work till she goes to sleep. Every night getting out the misery of being apart by crying ourselves to sleep.
We're trying to raise funds to cover the expenses to get my sweetheart home.
Sammie and I appreciate any help you can give and will keep you updated as things progress
Thank you for listening to our story.

Seems to be a bit of confusion as to why we are asking for £2000. This money will cover the funds required to complete the paperwork and requirements Canada has for a working vacation. Sammie is required to have $2500(£1600) in savings in addition to £400 for the paperwork alone. In addition she is required to have health insurance £800 which covers her for the 2 years and also a return ticket about £350

I don't know Sammie or you personally but I was touched by your story. I bought some picture frames off Sammie which is how I know of her through Facebook. Good luck with your plans xx
