My name is Andrew Gill and I am the director of 'Dementia Active Community Interest Company' which provides daytime activities for people living with dementia, or anyone who feels they may benefit from joining in.
With my background in elderly care rehabilitation and more recently as a home carer who primarily works to help keep dementia clients in their own home, I have extensive experience and knowledge in this field. On a personal note, in 2016 my wife was diagnosed with a rare form of vascular dementia and I am therefore acutely aware of how difficult life can be in trying to support a loved one and give them the best life has to offer.
My Goal
My aim, along with my experienced team, is to provide a safe and welcoming environment, where your partner, relative or friend can relax and join in activities which suit their abilities.
This will provide you with the reassurance that when we collect your partner, relative or friend, you can go about your daily business worry free, until they are returned.
