Story

As a family it's been a pretty rough month or so for sure, after loosing my Nan to covid 19 on the 25th of November, and after a sort visit to see his mum as she passed away, Dad then tested positive for this horrendous virus and quickly went down hill!

After being taken from his home to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital on the 4th December, Dad was quickly moved to the Critical Care Unit, where he is today! Kevin as you all know him or Dad to me had the horrible ordeal of missing his own mum's funeral which as you can imagine is pretty heartbreaking!

But without the amazing staff and unbelievable care Dad has received on the Unit the likely hood is he would now just be a number read out on a daily briefing and that's something the entire family will not forget!

So as of today,I have started to help raise funds for that unit, a simple challenge lays ahead, I will walk 5k every single day from today until Dad is not just home but completes a walk of 5k with me! His Granddaughter's Imogen and Brooke will be on most if not all the walks as they help raise funds!

We as a family will never forget the help and support we have received from all the hero's who work the critical care unit and we will forever be there debt!

Thank you for reading our story and any donation big or small is greatly received!

Thanks
Andy
