Ok, My name is Andrew Hunt I am a late forty something and a struggling author with feck all to my name. For years I have battled anxiety, depression ,unemployment and addiction. Though I am also an honours graduate of English Language and Literature.
Despite being very depressed (borderline clinical to acute) I wrote a series of blogs called "Nazi-zombies" which is a post- truth reflection about the growing neo-right in our society. The publishers love it, but they said it was too short. So I added it to a compilation of short stories, which again, they loved however they want £890 pounds to secure the deal. To some that's peanut's, to me its simply too much. I am on £90 PCM DLA a month; and despite trying my best to get a position, (from teaching as I have a 2:2 hons, to Sainsbury's to working at a recycling centre to any position in the NHS to secretarial work to road-sweeping ) I have got nowhere. I think its because no one want's to employ a leftie who thinks our nation is being screwed by a bunch of ZombieNazi's for as much coin as they can get.
Personally I think that there is enough in this product to go world wide, I also think that there is room for other products too, like T shirts and pens and mugs. Who wouldn't want a T shirt with the zombie-nazified face of Trump and Farage on it? Come on, of course you do! It is the British way of protesting!
I am also prepared to surrender half the rights to the text to MIND so the charity will get a part of the profit I receive. ( I have kids presents to get for Christmas.)
Most of you know the story's and have liked them. I hate to ask but I don't know where to turn. I think the story is funny and there are other stories in the collection that are funny, sad scary or just plain weird. I have also included two children's stories too. in a separate section. So I covered every genre I can think of. If you can help I would be grateful
