Brian Forbes and I are volunteer drivers with Madoch Community Transport. We’re trying to raise at least £3,000 to keep the service going. The video above gives a flavour of what the Community Transport service does for the people in and around the beautiful Carse of Gowrie.

We’re competing along with other drivers in a three-day Race Around Scotland from September 19-21st. Brian and I (who both celebrated turning 60 this year) are racing under the team name 'The Nifty Sixties'. We have bus passes, and we're gonna use them!

We don’t know where the race will take us, or what tasks we’ll have to complete along the way, but it should be three days of frantic fun in a very good cause. We hope you’ll sponsor us!
