North Ayrshire Tandem Cycling are trying to raise £500 for a community project called Community Hub Of Hope.

North Ayrshire Tandem Cycling, ( NATC ), will be Cycling around the Island of Arran on the 14h June 2025 to raise funds for a fantastic Local Charity called Community Hub of Hope. The Charity does amazing work in our Community with people suffering with Mental Health Issues.

Amy Nolan, the founder of the Charity, tells her story and her motivation behind her Idea......

This is Amy's Story....Community Hub of Hope was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to support those battling their inner demons. Living in a deprived area, I often saw heartbreaking posts on social media about people going missing or losing their lives to suicide. I understand that pain firsthand—back in May 2022, I attempted to take my own life by overdosing on insulin. That experience fuels my passion for helping others because I know how difficult mental health struggles can be, especially for those who haven’t experienced the darkness themselves.

Starting Community Hub of Hope created a safe space where people can come for support, share a cup of tea, and build friendships. It’s not just about mental health—it’s about bringing the community together through events and shared experiences.
