I'm carrying out a parachute jump to help George. To some jumping out of a plane may seem relatively straight forward, for me (a person with a big fear of heights) its absolutely crazy.. So why am i doing it, well hopefully a bit of discomfort for me over a very short space of time (I hear heavier people get to ground quicker) will help fund treatment for George to make his day to day life that much better, so here a bit about George......

George is a nephew of a good friend of mine who is living with something called Hemiplegia. It’s a condition that affects one side of the body, in George’s case, his right- hand side. It means that he has difficulty with his hand and arm. Unfortunately, a side effect of his condition is that he also has Epilepsy.

The aim is to raise £10,000 this year so that George can have Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT). It will have such a positive impact on him. Any additional funds raised will go to Hemihelp, an organisation supporting children and young people with hemiplegia, and their families.

On behalf of George and Hemihelp, I am going to take part in a group skydive on the 10th June 2017. I will be raising funds by finding sponsorships. If you would like to help raise funds for this cause it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
