Story

Hello

Thank you for taking the time to visit this page.

I am currently training to run 3 half marathons over three consecutive days on the 8th, 9th and 10th July. The marathons will take place in 3 locations across Loughborough, Leicester and Nottingham. These locations are the home of The Junction Church.

I am hoping to successfully complete this challenge and raise funds for the community event in Loughborough called Summer Madness.

Summer Madness brings together an entire community for a week of activities, laughter and fun. There’s SO much that goes on: three kids programmes, a community café and a crèche for the young ones. Last year we saw over 100 kids get involved!!

The event itself is run by a team of over 40 volunteers (all DBS checked and including many professionals). This team is passionate about serving the local community and making a difference in their town.

We’ve calculated it’ll cost £50 per child to cover everything for the week. That includes the hire of venues, and all equipment and food costs. We would love for you to join with us in serving this wonderful community through your giving.

Summer Madness is happening from the 6-11th August in the heart of Loughborough. Check out the official Summer Madness Facebook page for everything that’s been going on over the last year, and more details about this summer...
