I've raised £350 to Syston Scout Group

My Son, Daniel, started with the Syston Scouts when he was 6 years old, joining the Beavers section.
Since, he has nearly finished Cubs and will be moving up to Scouts next. During this time I have got involved with the group, firstly sitting on their Executive Committee and later becoming the Treasurer for the Cubs section.
We change lives by offering 6 to 14 year old young people fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and skills for life. Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.
10th Leicester (Syston) Scout group is one of the first recorded scout groups in the world and has been in the local community for 100 years.
We have approved plans for disabled access into the hall and a new disabled toilet installation. This will allow us to meet current legislation and, more importantly, be able to offer places to even more local children.
I have been actively working on my own personal fitness, I have completed the 'couch to 5k' scheme and now jog regularly. I have decided to enter the Rothley 10k this June and would like sponsorship for the Scout group.
