We are a Community Interest Company from Derbyshire with a mission to enrich the lives of our community through connecting generations and providing therapy through music, exercise, sports, dance and education. Following on from an extremely difficult period where many people have been left lonely, isolated and struggling both physically and mentally. Many members of our community have been left with very little to look forward to. Many care homes and individuals are struggling financially. Money that would normally be spent on providing residents with visitors to entertain and provide valuable therapy through activities such as arts, sports, exercise and music is now having to used for vital areas such as PPE, testing & hiring of extra staff whilst employees are isolating. This is leaving residents who already cannot see family and friends extremely lonely and isolated with very little to be motivated and live for. We aim to brighten up the days of, and help these members of our community by providing monthly themed entertainment and exercise packages featuring concerts, chair based dance sessions, interactive quizzes and young generations dance demos. These can be streamed from our website on any device at any time either in groups or for individuals to watch alone. Giving valuable mental and physical stimulation for our ageing community and helping to ease the burden of isolation during these difficult times.
