I've raised £200 to help the Manchester homeless. Will be donating to LIFESHARE who care about these people. Feed Manchester would also get a 25% donation.

I along with some friends will be running and cycling the Manchester big bee trail. There are 101 bee's, I will be running from Bee 1 on the map to bee 84 on Saturday 25/8/2018. Then the following day I will be cycling to the remaining ones.
I love our City with a passion.
We do things differently here, however there is a problem that can't be ignored. Anybody who has been in Manchester City centre recently you must have seen the homeless people. It's getting worse, I throw them some change then carry on socialising with my friends or family. These people have nothing, they are at rock bottom. Every one of them will have a story if you take time to talk with them. Recently I have done this. There are people who used to hold down a home a job and a family. They broke up with partners and lost it mentally. Young people who have been abused at a young age and had to escape. 1001 reasons why.
I can't change the world but I have to do somthing to help, no matter how small. I have spoken to a lot of these people and asked who helps you and how? I was told Lifeshare give them a breakfast at Danzig Street office. It means so much to them. Especially in the winter months. I also was told about an organisation called feed Manchester who are another non profit organisation that relies on volunteers and donations to feed the homeless. I have a few friends who will run and bike along side me, we all care so much about these people. If you can afford anything, even £1 Then please donate. If you can't afford anything it would be great if you could just share it.
