Story
In Memory of Andrew Small - Mr Grimsargh
In response to the many questions asked, and having been overwhelmed by the number of enquiries regarding a memorial / tribute to the memory of Andrew, we are pleased to launch a fundraiser on his behalf.
Not only did Andrew hold a demanding and very responsible job, he worked tirelessly for the Wetlands and the local community that surrounded him.

He was an integral part of this community and gave so much of his time up in aid of others, working tirelessly in support of those around him - from his fundraising efforts and conservation work at Grimsargh Wetlands, to working with young people in the community to help them connect with nature, not to mention his annual festive treat for local children.
We understand, from the many people who have been in touch, that you want to contribute to and be a part of the creation of a tribute in his memory.
So, we feel that now is the right time to begin to raise funds for a community memorial, working with Grimsargh Wetlands Trust, of which Andy was a valued Trustee for many years.

Cash donations are also being accepted at Grimsargh Club, The Plough and Grimsargh Premier Store.
Once we know how much money has been raised, we will give careful thought as to how best to honour Andrew and look forward to sharing more about this in the future.
Finally, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your words of comfort at what has been an incredibly difficult time.
