I've raised £2000 to Help my friend pay towards cancer treatment that is not available in the UK.

Jeremy was diagnosed with advanced cancer of the colon aged 39 which had spread to the lymph nodes, he underwent surgery in June 2018 followed by 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Testing carried out on the tumour showed that it was rare and was much more likely to respond to a new immunotherapy treatment which although licenced in America and Europe was not available on the NHS.
In order to increase his chances of survival he started a course of the immunotherapy drug Pembrolizumab in January 2019 at a cost of 7 thousand pound per cycle.
This treatment will entail completion of 6 cycles at a total cost of £42000 which he has to fund himself with his family savings.
Jeremy, his wife and young daughter (2 and a half) are forever grateful that 5 ex service men are raising money for this much needed treatment by walking to the top of Ben Nevis and down
