Story
We are raising monies in the memory of the late Andrew Morley of Horwich who passed away in November 2018 aged 49. An open day event will take place to plant trees in Andrew's memory on Saturday 9th March 2019 at the wood land trust site at Smithills at 10.30am. It is also hoped that a small plaque will be installed in a prominent location in Horwich in Andrew's memory as well. Funds raised will be donated to these two causes.
Andrew was the former Treasurer of Horwich Parish Church, former Treasurer of Churches Together in Horwich, former Treasurer of Horwich Fair trade and served as a member of Horwich Town Council representing Church Ward. He also played the violin in the Bolton Symphony Orchestra.
He was well known in Horwich and Bolton and very much respected.
This account has been set up and is being administered by Andrew's friend and colleague, Cllr. Richard Silvester.
