In suite 102 in the Mercure Hotel(Formerly the George Hotel) of George Street, Nottingham, the world's oldest football league club was formally recognised in a meeting on 7th December 1864. The group of gentleman who met in suite 102 and had been playing football as a team, first recorded on 25th November 1862, formed Notts County Foot-ball club. Let's get a plaque in place where history was created.
