I've raised £1000 to Help Lee Belgium with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia

This year, against my better judgement, little preparation and ageing legs, I have decided to take part in The Green Man Ultra, a 45 mile trail race around Bristol, starting and finishing near Ashton Court. This came about due agreeing to sign up if a friend signed up....SHE DID and after realising she was actually going to take part and so with 3 weeks notice SO DID I!!!!.
A few month's ago Charlie's school held an event in aid of a little lad called Lee Belgium who was suffering with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. The purpose of the event was to raise money for his treatment abroad. This really hit home with me as he isn't much older than Charlie and I thought this could raise further awareness and money to help him and his family in their unimaginable position.
I know this is very last minute as the event is this Saturday 2nd March (no jokes please anyone who knows me) but it was a lightbulb moment a few days ago that if I by running this crazy race I can help this little lad and his family in even a very small way then why wouldn't I try... I don't like asking people for money but if you feel you want to send a few quid then we can all help them out.
But most of all thank you for reading this and raising awareness.
