Story

After having a motorbike accident in 2005 I have been left with chronic back pain. I had to give up work due to the amount of pain I am in. I started playing the guitar as a way of taking my mind off of the pain and fell in love. Last year I graduated from university with a 2.1 in the music business. I am currently studying my GCSE maths and English and will continue my studying at the end of the year as I have been accepted to study for my master's degree.

I started playing wheelchair basketball in November 2018 and found I loved it. I was fortunate to be given the chance to buy a lightweight sports chair which normally costs around £2500.00. The manager of my team Sussex Bears Wheelchair basketball Ricky Perrin has managed to get several lightweight chairs at a cost to myself £750.00 have raised £300.00 towards it which I am very grateful for. I still need to raise £450.00 so I have decided to do a sponsored 5km wheelchair push. I am hoping to do the 5km push on the 13th June at Hove seafront starting at Hove lagoon and finishing at the Palace Pier. I would be so grateful for any donation and any money raised will pay the balance of my sports chair. If I can raise over the amount I will be donating to the Martlets. Thank you, Andy,
