Story

I have been a teacher in the UK for over 25 years. It is time I took my practice to those who need it the most. I am seeking your help to fund a 4 week teaching fellowship in July\August 2020, in association with LRTT, an organisation that brings together teachers from around the world, to improve the lives of young people in the emerging country of Nepal. I want to play an active part in changing the lives of those who have very little, other than the will to educate themselves out of poverty.

I will be part of a like minded fellowship of teachers from America, Canada, Australia and Europe who, like me, want to effect real change in parts of the world where teaching is severely under resourced and where teachers need support in delivering good quality education to the young people in isolated communities.

By donating as much or as little as you can, you can be part of this amazing opportunity, to improve the education of those who have nothing but deserve better. The funding will be instrumental in paying for accommodation, in country transport to and from isolated schools and villages. For vital teaching resources and valuable materials to be used in develop teaching and learning strategies and to help support teachers to improve the prospects of people less fortunate than ourselves. Please help me to improve and to sustain positive change through best educational practice.

Thank for your time
