I've raised £7000 to Build the Primary School at Concrete Foundation School in Cotton Tree Liberia

The girls and boys of Concrete Foundation School have been learning in small overcrowded rooms for years and the community has been doing their best to provide education for as many children as possible. This £7,000 will fund 6 classrooms - for 180 children. The children and parents will help through making bricks and the school will be theirs from the ground up. Over the last 2 years the school has benefited from training for teachers, a water hand pump, latrines, and 6 classrooms for the upper school completed. These final 6 classrooms for the lower school will mean that the school is fully able to sustain eduction provision into the future. As a teacher I see the same desire to teach and inspire in Liberia as I see in the UK or Canada. This building will help change the education provision for young girls and boys through education and bring hope and positive opportunities for their futures.
