Story

Andy was unexpectedly taken from his beloved wife Helen, family and close friends in the early hours of Saturday morning on the 9th April with a severe Sepsis infection following another hard fought battle with Lymphoma cancer.

For those that knew Andy well, he successfully fought 7 episodes of cancer over his life, but with his body so weak from previous treatments the 8th was just a little too strong for this great battler to handle this time around.

A gentle giant with a big personality to match - Funny, witty, a dry sense of humour. and never wanting to miss out on an opportunity to crack one of his one liner jokes.

Through all of the adversity and the tough challenges life threw his way, he never complained, was happy go lucky and 'simply got on with it' and took the opportunity to live life it to its full, where his passion for diving gave him the opportunity to travel all around the world. He crammed so much into a life which was sadly taken to soon and 56 years young.

As a family we are wanting to raise awareness of these two great charities to provide much needed funding to continue to support their great work in the hope that one day there will be cures available and a precious life is never lost again.
