I'm doing nothing for charity,

absolutely nothing. You won’t find me climbing in the Himalayas or walking the foothills of the Andes, I can’t even be bothered to walk up Dunstable Downs. I have no intention of jumping out of a plane or dangling from a giant piece of elastic joined to an enormous crane or bridge. Nor will you see me swimming running or even breaking in to a fast walk, no chance. Anyone who knows me will know there is little point in me shaving my head as nature has already taken care of that, and I will not be found in a bath full of beans or walking around in fancy dress. I am doing nothing absolutely nothing for charity, zilch diddly squat nothing at all.

In return for this world class effort in slothfulness and lethargy I am hoping to raise £500 pounds for a wonderful local good cause Streetlife Houghton Regis who spend their evenings giving hot food and drink to the local rough sleeper and homeless population. They also supply clothing and toiletries etc. This year they are also one of the good causes supported by the Mayor of Houghton Regis where I work for the Town Council.

If by some miracle more than £500s is raised it will be donated to other good causes in the Houghton Regis and Dunstable area and used to improve the environment by planting up public areas such as the bed in the picture which I planted this year.
