As many of you will have seen in the local press, The Roebuck pub in Market Harborough was sadly destroyed by fire on the evening of Friday 6th September. Thankfully nobody was hurt and everyone got out safely. The fire service heroically battled the blaze and were able to put it out without it spreading to nearby properties.

However, the fire has completely destroyed the living quarters above the pub and left Andy Lapsley, the live-in manager, with nothing but the clothes on his back.

At this devastating time we would ask that the local community rallies around and shows Andy the love and support that he needs by donating anything you can to help him rebuild his life.

As any of you that met Andy will know, he is a lovely, kind, generous guy who would be the first person to offer you help should you ever need it. So please, please show him the same compassion and empathy that he would extend.
