I've raised £2000 to help us rebuild our Affordable Original Art business and complete our van home/studio build, enabling us to continue creating the art.

We are keen to rebuild our Affordable Original Art business, that we began in Ludlow, Shropshire, back in November 2015. An unscrupulous developer put pay to our start-up business (a charming little art shop and working art studio), turning our medieval lane into a building site for over a year. As a result, customers avoided the lane and we lost sales. Neither the developer or builder would pay us compensation and so we lost our business, home and our investment, and were unable to afford to take them to court.
We began to live full-time in our Sprinter van, which we had begun converting into a camper earlier in the year. We always had a plan to take the art further afield a few years down the line, once our lease had ended; but the disruptive build created an unforeseen urgency. We sold the remainder of our things in order to fund the van conversion; but, it was all a bit of a rush and a huge upheaval. We’d only managed about half of the build.
Reigniting the art business from our van home has proved much harder than we'd anticipated. We’ve become stuck, and find we are in need of help. We know that with this vital help we'd be able to begin again.
It means everything to us. It means we could complete the van build, making it habitable and warm for winter. This would mean we could continue creating the art and the writing from our tin home. We'd be able to begin to sell Andy's art from market locations around the country. Basically, your money would get us up and running again and back on track, as we were in Pepper Lane.
We have hope. We have tenacity. We have the skills. We just need a little help.
Thank you.
