Andy’s Man Club was set up in June 2016 as a support group for Men to talk about their emotions.

Named after Andrew Roberts, a well-loved Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend to many, who suddenly took his own life in 2016, the group aims to give men a safe space to talk about their emotions, and develop support networks with their peers through face to face and online contact.

The group regularly run events to raise awareness of Male Suicide in the UK, and to end the stigma that surrounds mental health. From humble beginnings in Halifax, there are now 15 groups throughout the UK, including groups in Wales and Scotland, with plans to grow into other towns and cities throughout the UK.

The group is run exclusively by volunteers, and there are no costs to any of our members for attending the sessions, so we rely on the generosity of the public to keep the cause going.
