In the last few months Andrew has been bed bound from pressure sores and an operation to remove some kidney stones. He's a tough cookie, as they say, and has been recovering well. We've all been working together to get him back on track, out-and-about and the happy man that he usually is. There is some more unfortunate news though; as a result of his pressure sores he is in desperate need of a new wheelchair.

For the average human the ability to just move across a room at their own will is either taken for granted or not really considered a privilege. For Andrew it's a gift. The happiness on his face from doing the things he loves comes from the very access to a good quality wheelchair. One with more comfort for him and one which provides more independence. The utmost quality when it comes to the needs of Andrew is of serious importance to us and to him.

Andrew being bed bound can cause even more problems (even with attentive care at every moment), not to mention the boredom that comes with it. The joy that Andrew spreads in his daily life is truly inspirational. It would be appreciated greatly if that joy could be spread back to him; by donating to this fund.
