On the 16th June I will be participating in tough mudder which is a 10+ mile obstacle course to drag you out of your comfort zone.
I will be doing this in aid of the lighthouse for Perth.
The Lighthouse for Perth was set up to provide a safe place for people with suicidal thoughts and self harming.
Sadly suicide & self harm has risen over the years the Lighthouse will be a place of safety for those at crisis point. The Lighthouse is run out of hours with trained volunteers who are there with compassion to listen and support.
I came to hear of the Lighthouse following the tragic loss of David Buchan who in November 2015 at the young age of 17 took his own life. The Lighthouse was a great support for David's family.
Any support even very little will be greatly appreciated.
