Story

As many people are aware that sadly we lost my beloved auntie on Monday 18th Febuary 2019. Angela, who was loved so many was born 5th October 1959, with down syndrome. Angela, lived with her parents up until 2013 when her mother, (my grandmother,) passed away. Then she came to live with her little sister and brother inlaw, and in my eyes the most amazing People in the whole world. Angela lived life to the full and always had a smile on her face (unless you told her it was going to snow). In 2013 Angela joined a group called Wot’s up club, where she met the wonderful Mag’s. Mag‘s would take her out for days, whether it was to go swimming, boat rides or just a walk around Needham lake. She spent many days enjoying life with her new friends enjoying all different activities. In 2017 Angela became very poorly and spent 10 weeks in hospital, when she was well enough to come home unfortunately she had more needs than my mum and dad were able to give to her. This was the time that we never wanted to come, Angela went to Barham care home, where she was truly loved and cared for the way we wanted. Angela still spent days at Wots up club with Mag’s going out on day trips when her health would let her. We as a family, especially my parents, would not of been able to give Angela the life she deserved without the care and support from both Wots up club and Barham care home. So this is our chance to try and give somthing back to them to say a huge thankyou and raise awareness for the brilliant job these people do day in, day out! so im asking if you could give anything, even a pound for these amazing people, so places like this can carry on working in the commuity helping people like my auntie! Thankyou xxxx
