Story
We have been running Naturezones Wildlife Education Center for 10 years. This year we celebrate our many success. We run educational school visits, conservation days where volunteers help us manage our 10 acre nature reserve. Some of our volunteers have learning difficulties or have been out of work for some time and have been referred to us by the NHS. our aim is to help them regain their confidence prior to returning to full time employment.
In our 10th year we want to expand and develop into a better education center. We want to raise funds for an indoor education center so that we can offer training courses during the Winter for a wider range of communities and individuals.
Looking after our natural environment is an essential part of our existence, our health and well being. Tending the soil, growing meadows flowers for insects, meadow grasses for hay for farm animals. Growing woodlands as a top habitat for birds, insects and mammals all of which have an important task in supporting the well being of our planet.
