Our daughter was born with Hydrocaphulas and one week after her first birthday she under brain surgery to fit a shunt. She amazed us all and made a very quick recovery. She went on to have physiotherapy to get her crawling and walking and we had may years of hospital appointments until she was finally discharged at the age of 11. We have been so lucky to only have two scares where we thought more surgery was needed due to blockage. Many children have this condition and have to endured many complications. SHINE is an amazing charity who support children and adults living with either Hydrocaphulas or Spina Bifida.
I will be doing the Manchester to Blackpool night time bike ride to raise money and awareness of this amazing charity and to help a young girl fulfil her dreams and get her to the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama as fee's are so high. Whatever I raise I will split evenly between the two. This is going to be a huge challenge and I have never done anything like this before so please help me complete this huge task.
