£40raised of £150,000 target by 2 supporters

Weʼre raising £150,000 to Restore and renovate a much loved church hall within the community of Sole Street, so that more people, groups and individuals can benefit.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

The building in Sole Street is much loved by the community and used by several community groups. However it is in desperate need of refurbishment and the community would like to see this building restored to its former glory so that it can be used by more members of the community as a meeting place for all kinds of groups and individuals. it is the only communal building in Sole Street. It is a very special place, owned by the church, and consecrated as a place of worship, but despite their best efforts they have so far been unable to raise enough funds to get the building work started and each year it deteriorates a little more. We would love to see this wonderful building restored so that the church and community can enjoy it once again. All donations received will go into a restricted fund within the church accounts to be used for the specific purpose of restoring and renovating this little gem of a building. By spreading the net wider through 'justgiving' we hope that with your help, the church and community may once again benefit from its use. Together we can do it!
