I aim to walk 100 miles during the month of July to raise funds for my Petersfield Beethoven Festival, a series of 10 concerts, lecture recitals and talks taking place in Petersfield, Hampshire, throughout 2027, the bicentenary of the composer's death.

I have always loved the music of this astounding composer and have studied in, and taken groups of music lovers to Vienna, to see where he lived, worked and died, creating a rich legacy of music which changed the face of classical music forever.

We are extremely fortunate to have secured the commitment of many first-class musicians and speakers for this festival, but it is an expensive project, and extra funds are needed aside from ticket sales and donations to ensure the success of the festival overall.
