I've raised £500 to help support Animal Concern Cumbria and Morgan's Dog Rescue by running the Great North Run 2020.

Animal Concern Cumbria are a small Cumbrian charity which helps to find new homes for animals that for no fault of their own are looking for someone to give them a chance. They are a self funding charity and are run largely by volunteers. They support the community with providing animal behaviour and well being guidance to owners to help keep pets in a home and reduce homing.
Morgan's Dog Rescue is run by Donna Cain and this is what she says about her rescue centre....
"I started Morgan's up to help unwanted working breeds, although I still get the odd other breed i.e collies that won't work sheep or high drive pets that can't cope with nothing to do like greyhounds, gundogs and sheepdogs etc.
I work with them and try and place them where I think they will be the happiest i.e agility, police, working sheep, search & rescue etc or just as active pets for those that are less energetic.
I also work with some that are feral and that have been locked away in barns and have never been handled.
