Weʼre raising £1,500 to Fund a Barrister for my divorce case. I am disabled and unable to work.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
I was told I was being divorced 2 weeks before Christmas 2017. We had been married 17 years. Ex husband to be has worked out of the country only coming home for 6 weeks a year. I have raised our 14 year old practically alone.
I became disabled 13 years ago. I have 5 chronic lifelong illnesses with no cure. I take 64 medications daily, plus supplements. I use an electric wheelchair when out of my home (Of which I am losing).
I finally found a solicitor who was willing to take 90 percent of there fee out of my settlement when our family home is sold.
Today I received an email to say I need to pay for a barrister for our next court date which is June 22nd 2018. I need to find £1500 plus vat.
I receive ESA and PIP, but PIP pays for my electric wheelchair. I have no way of finding that kind of money. Any amount will be gratefully received.
I am desperate.
Thank you in advance.
