Story

This year Jack and I have ran 2 x 10k races, 2 Half Marathons and the Belfast City Marathon (Yip all 26.2 miles in his buggy)

In September 2017 myself and a few friends plan to cycle from Mizen Head in County Cork to Malin Head in County Donegal (400 miles approx.) in order to raise some funds towards a sensory room for Jack. If all goes well Jack will be joining us for part of the journey.

In June 2009 Jack was diagnosed with a rare neurodevelopmental disorder called Angelman Syndrome. Angelman Syndrome is characterized by severe intellectual and developmental disability, Sleep disturbance and Epileptic seizures. Jack is a wonderful, loving and very caring 11 year old boy, he has the most infectious laugh, loves a carry on and loves to be around people.

We have also linked with and wish to raise funds for two well known charities:The Southern Area Hospice and Myeloma UK.

Southern Area Hospice Services is a charity providing care free of charge to local people with cancer and other terminal illnesses, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, HIV and Aids.
Southern Area Hospice Services relies on 73p in every pound coming from fundraising to enable us to care and support patients and their families.Friends of Southern Area Hospice are the fundraising group for Lurgan/Craigavon area.
