Angels United – Breaking the Silence Around Baby and Child Loss

Angels United is more than just a football team. We’re a bereavement support group and a community – built by and for families who have experienced the unimaginable: the loss of a baby or child at any age or stage of pregnancy.

Founded in 2020, we often say we’re the football club you wish you weren’t part of. But for those who are, we provide something powerful: understanding, support, and a space to feel seen and heard.

We use football as a way to break the silence around baby and child loss – giving grieving parents, siblings, and family members a team to belong to, a space to talk, and a way to process pain through the beautiful game.

We’re asking for your help to raise £2,500 to continue the vital support sessions we run – both on and off the pitch. This includes:

Mental health and wellbeing sessions

Group meet ups for peer support

Access to resources and outreach for newly bereaved families

Maintaining safe spaces where stories can be shared without judgment

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us keep showing up for those who need us – and ensures that no one has to walk this path alone.

Thank you for helping us support grieving families and keep the conversation going – one kick, one chat, and one family at a time.
