What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Angel Tree is a charity that works with prisons to help make Christmas special for the children of prisoners. They hand select gifts based on a child's age, likes and interests etc. £20 will fund one child's gift including delivery and personalisation from Daddy. Something like this decreases the distance between families enduring a prison sentence and restores some normality to an extremely difficult circumstance. Thanks to Angel Tree, my 2 children will receive gifts from Daddy this Christmas and my partner will feel like he's contributing more to his kids.

I am the mother of 2 children whose father is in prison. We know the importance of visits, phonecalls, doing everything we can to maintain a connection whilst he's away. Angel Tree help him feel like he's contributing to their smiles on Christmas morning.
