I'm raising £3,000 for Noddfa Bach/Little Sanctuary Dog Rescue & Outreach Services

In May 2025 we launched an Outreach Program to support dogs in their own homes, in the counties of Anglesey, Gwynedd and Conwy, and whose owners are crisis due to injury, illness, mental health, age, disability, disaster, financial crisis and/or other unforeseen crisis.

We help keep dogs out of the kennel system by giving loving owners the support they need to get through a crisis or in the case of deteriorating circumstance or terminal illness help rehome from home. Noddfa Bach can supply support with food, walking, grooming, training fees and vet fees. We have been inundated with requests for help and placements are extremely limited. We would like to raise more funds to help dogs and their people especially during the winter.

Donating £15.00 will support a small dog with food for a week, £30 will support a medium sized dog for a week, £50 will support a large dog for a week.

Our rescue side of things is small. We run out of dedicated foster homes and have emergency kennels in a fully licensed boarding kennel.

All dogs that come into rescue see a vet for a health check within 72 hours unless immediate emergency treatment is required. After 4 weeks each dog is assessed by a KC registered dog trainer and a rehoming or rehabilitation plan is put into place. Sometimes, due to behavioural issues, dogs cannot be immediately rehomed and the foster carer works closely with the trainer to implement positive training techniques. This means that some dogs end up staying for a prolonged period of time so that they can have the best possible start in their new life.

Each dog that comes into rescue costs a minimum of £500 this covers vet health check, neutering, flea/worm treatment, vaccinations and microchip. If the dog has any health concerns or goes into kennels it costs more. We have had to pause taking anymore dogs into rescue until we have raised extra funds. We have a waiting list of dogs waiting to come in and are turning down 3-4 dogs a week.

I'm raising £3,000 our rescue & outreach.
